Under these contracts Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV is responsible to deliver all constituent support capabilities: vessel operations, engineering support, maintenance support, supply support, crewing and training and provide support services.
Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV is also proud to have been awarded the Time Charter Contract for the technical management and crewing of a bunker tanker “Absolute I” to support BP bunkering services for vessels calling the Port of Fremantle in Western Australia. Prior to 2019, Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV was supporting BP in delivering bunkering services by operating MT Vacamonte.
Our team is preparing to welcome “Absolute I” in our fleet upon completion of her first special survey docking in Singapore. The vessel is expected to return to WA in early November to transition into Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV management and to commence operations.
Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV offers a full suite of crewing, industrial relations and HR services to the marine industry in Australia. Over the years Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV has provided crewing services for large-scale companies, such as BHP Biliton, Sugar Australia and Santos. Since 2012, Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV has been crewing manager for the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, Ningaloo Vision. Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV provides permanent marine crew to seven Government vessels and the bunker tanker Absolute I under our management. Additionally, Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV provides marine crew to conduct the sea trials and delivery voyages for the Government vessels. More recently Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV marine crews delivered both Auxiliary Replenishment Vessels “Supply” and “Stalwart” from the shipyard in Ferrol, Spain to Australia, and supported the sea trials on arrival of these vessels.
Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV provides asset management capability to deliver seaworthy vessels to customers in private and government sectors. Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV delivers the services through processes certified to the ISO 55001 standard and tailored to the needs of customers safely and efficiently. Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV has been providing the asset management services to Australian Border Force for their two Bay Class Patrol Boats “Roebuck Bay” and “Storm Bay” since 2017. These vessels have a home port in Cairns where Storage and Transshipment Company Van Der Vaart BV is delivering the service from our office in Cairns in partnership with “Norship Marine”.
